two dollars.
Estate sales are fun. Well, the one I have been to was fun. I found this amazingly adorable little French-English dictionary. It had no price on it, and they told me it was mine for two dollars! So of course I had to have it, and for two dollars, what the hey?
It has no year in it, but it has the publishers name and that it was located in New York City. So I Googled the publisher. They were a London based publisher who had a branch in New York from 1899-1903. The dictionary cost 30 cents when it was first purchased during those four years. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with my purchase!
